Upon completion of her Master’s degree in International Law at the Free University of Brussels, Julieta developed a keen interest in International Humanitarian Law and the Law of Armed Conflict. She obtained a second degree in Military Law at the University of Amsterdam, with a focus on Cyberwarfare and has done extensive research in the domain of Computer Data as a Military Objective. She has worked with different think tanks around the world on Cyber related topics and has been advising public entities on the protection of critical infrastructure.
In 2016 she participated in a NATO training at the Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence in Estonia following the introduction of the Tallinn Manual, the first legal framework regarding Cyberwarfare. As a Legal Advisor in the Cyber realm she has extensive knowledge and functions as a pioneer in the field. She is currently advising private entities on Data Protection and working as a corporate lawyer in the commodity market.
